 This issue of Modern Wedding is our very special PINK ISSUE. For the second year running we have devoted this issue to helping to raise awareness and funds to fight breast cancer. Modern Wedding is a Gold Partner with the National Breast Cancer Foundation and this edition has a number of ways we and our brides can help and benefit from this association.

Together with David Jones, another gold partner of the NBCF, we organised the creation and shoot of some stunning gowns from famous designers which will be auctioned with all the proceeds going to fight breast cancer. We did this last year and raised some much needed funds to fight this terrible disease. This year we will also be auctioning a beautiful crown created for Miss Universe Australia by Temelli Jewellery of Melbourne and you have a chance to win a stunning pink Sapphire ring created by Arman’s Fine Jewellery.

And while the focus is on things ‘Pink’, we have not forgotten all the other very important aspects of a modern wedding. This edition has our very successful ‘Jewels” supplement to showcase the best in wedding jewellery and the shoots in this edition are absolutely stunning. There is also the annual Stationery feature, a look at the latest cake trends and lots of exciting DIY projects to help the brides personalize their wedding.
